Community comes together to support cancer patient

A community fundraiser for Craig Dockter, who has been diagnosed with cancer, is set for 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday at The Stonehouse, 107 Sacramento St., in Nevada City.

Dockter is husband of local artist Yvon Dockter.

Community members seek to support the family with living and medical expenses, with a potluck dinner (please bring finger food, bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages), art auction and raffle.

Music will be performed by The Cheatin Buzzies, George Souza, Inya Eeya, Brenda Hanna, Kelly Fleming and RKX.
